“Unity,” The Art of Dwelling by: Ken Malone

Unity

The Art of Dwelling

Much has been spoken and written about having Unity in the body of Christ.  Some thoughts have been on brothers and sisters getting along, other thoughts are that Unity is cooperation within the body, unity of purpose or coming together as one body and the list goes on.  All of these are great definitions and worthy of discussion.  However, these thoughts do not approach Unity with clarity as to how this is done. I also know that what I’m writing is only a part of what Unity may look like. One person will not have all the answers.

We’ve heard messages in church and conferences on Unity and everyone claps their hands in harmony, but the harmony ends there when we go home.

Years ago, when I led a congregation in Davenport FL, one of the local pastors suggested that we bring our youth groups together at his location, to which I agreed. He also asked another time for us to support his revival services, which we did.  However, when I wanted to do something that involved our two churches coming together, at our location, he always declined to join us. I’m not sure why. I’ve had similar things happen in recent years as well.  Is it only Unity when someone does what you want to do? I don’t think this is Unity.

Let’s go to root scriptures on Unity and see what our Lord is saying.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NASB, Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. 10 For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. 11 Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

These verses penned by Solomon elaborates on how synergy is so important to accomplish our Lord’s plan in the earth.  Synergy is awesome, in that it increases our ability to accomplish a goal.  Look at this example. If an individual can lift 150 lbs. and you pair them with another who can lift 150 lbs., there ability does not double. Their ability will dramatically increase. They have the potential to lift 400 or 500 lbs.

We also see how we are commissioned to help each other if one falls.  Today, if one has a failure, we tend to leave them where they lay, rather than restoring one.  I know many within the body of Christ that have had some kind of failure. Some are ministers, both men and women, that have had a moral failure while in ministry. Why not retore them?  God did.  He restored David. He restored Peter, who cursed and denied our Lord.  He kept Abraham on course, even after Abraham gave his wife to another King.  Why can’t we? Why can’t we restore the fallen ones?  Are they still fallen once they return, cleansed and healed?  It may be the absence of Unity is in each one of us, that keeps our brother from being restored.

Holy Spirit brings it home in Galatians.  Galatians 6:1 TPT, “My beloved friends, if you see a believer who is overtaken with a fault, the one who is in the Spirit should seek to restore him in the Spirit of gentleness. But keep watch over your own heart so that you won’t be tempted to exalt yourself over him.”

The word restore is katartizo, in the Greek.  It means to put something in its proper place, to snap into position.  Holy Spirit wants our fallen friends to be restored not ostracized.  Put back into position.  Why can’t a fallen worship leader, lead worship again?  Why can’t a fallen pastor, pastor again?  Throughout the scripture our Lord put them back into position.  Can you restore?  This is a part of Unity. To not restore our brethren is dis-unity.

Confession Time: I was a part of those who looked down on our fallen ministers, worship leaders, believers, etc.  That trait has ended in my life.  My desire is to restore the brethren, be merciful and embrace them with the same love our Lord sheds abroad in His heart.

How much do you want Unity?

In the year two thousand, I came back from meetings in Canada, fired up to bring together 5-fold leaders for weekly prayer.  I began this and it continued for many years.  After about two years of the pastors praying together, I had a local brother in the Lord call me and said, “the Lord has put it on my heart to bring the pastors together to pray.” I listened for a few minutes and said, “I’ve been doing this for two years, why don’t you join us?” He said, “the Lord told us to do this.” I did not consent to join him but was really ticked off that he and his group wouldn’t join us. I had been down that road of pastors not joining us. When I hung up the phone, my wife Cheryl said, “Well, we see how much you want UNITY!” I immediately fell under conviction, called him up and committed to joining them.  What eventually happened, had a better outcome. We combined the two groups for a force of Unity in the region. We learned how to dwell together. Sometimes I led the group and at other times my brother led it.

The First and Second Commandment

Mark 12:29-31 TPT, “The most important of all the commandments is this: ‘The Lord Yahweh, our God, is one!’ 30 You are to love the Lord Yahweh, your God, with a passionate heart, from the depths of your soul, with your every thought, and with all your strength. This is the great and supreme commandment. 31 And the second is this: ‘You must love your neighbor in the same way you love yourself.

There it is!  You can see from the way our Lord said this, He is very passionate for us loving God and loving our neighbors, brothers, sisters, sinners and the like.

For two years Holy Spirit has been telling me of His supernatural Love that He is bringing to the body of Christ.  I’ve taught on this agape love and you can listen to my messages on “Supernatural Love,” on my YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/l7lqUbpDwHY

His agape love is not like human love.  His love is unconditional, unwavering, non-condemning, non-conforming and with passion to everyone.  It’s supernatural. That doesn’t mean that our Lord accepts sin.  He doesn’t!  However, He loves this world and the people in it so much that He sent is only son to die for everyone’s sin. We usually love people based on their performance.  Natural thinking says, if you don’t love or like someone, God must not either.  Not true.  He’s not at all like you or I, but is calling each one of us to imitate Him.

He also called us to love each disciple deeply. John 15:9-13 TPT, “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. 10 If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. 11 My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness! 12 “So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. 13 For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.”

In order to walk in Unity, we have to live this life, nourished by our Father’s Supernatural Love.  Allowing our Father’s Love to penetrate our being is at the top for a believer who desires to walk as a disciple.  This nourishment by our Father will cause us to walk in His Supernatural Love.

Does Unity Bring Us Into Awakening?

When I think of “Awakening,” I believe this is more than just extended revival services at our local church.  It includes that, but I see it as much, much more.  Awakening is the Holy Spirit manifesting on cities and every part of society.  Millions coming to Jesus, receiving Him as Lord, millions healed, cities being transformed and as the books of Joel and Acts says, the Holy Spirit being poured out on all flesh.

The question I pose is, does unity bring about this type of awakening? If it does, then how do we do unity? What does unity look like?

Again, I know I do not have all the answers. 1 Corinthians 13:9 says, 9” For we know in part and we prophesy in part…” I’m just adding what the Lord has been sharing with me. We all have a part.

Learning to Dwell

In Psalm 133, the Lord unveils the blessings of Unity by saying, there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1-3 NASB, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.

There is a lot more revealed in this verse than we normally see.  It was a few years ago that Holy Spirit began to show one of the key words in this verse.  The key word is not unity but what is done that results in unity.

Unity is a noun.  You cannot do a noun. It’s like the word home.  In order for a house to be a home, it has to be occupied. If it’s not occupied, it’s just a house.  Even a new home, if not occupied, will eventually deteriorate. The same is true of Unity.  It has to be possessed.

Caleb told the children of Israel, that they must go up at once and possess the land.  He said, “we are well able.” (Number 13:30)   Unity has to be occupied, it has to be possessed. Something has to be done in order for unity to occur.

Unity is a noun.  You cannot do a noun.  Action, must be taken. Unity is the result of occupying or possessing.

Unity is the result of Dwell. Dwell is the verb in Psalm 133:1 and is action.  We must learn how to dwell with one another, not tolerate each other.  To Dwell means, that we learn to work with, prefer and love our brother. When we embrace our brother with agape love, as Jesus does, we begin the first steps of dwelling.

Dwelling Nuggets

Honor. In dwelling we bestow honor upon once another.  Honor unlocks an anointing in your life. As his body, we are called to be like Him. We’ve lost the art of honor in today’s church. Let’s ask the Lord to help us restore honor.  Let’s look at some scripture on honor.

  • Ephesians 6:1-3 NASB, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
  • 1 Peter 2:17 NASB, Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.
  • Romans 12:10 NASB, Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

Prefer. Holy Spirit had a lot to say about preferring your brother over yourself.  It’s not practiced as much as it should be.  Usually the competitive or jealous spirit takes over.  In Ephesians 2:7, Holy Spirit shows how our Lord Jesus emptied himself so He could be filled with Holy Spirit.

  • Philippians 2:3 TPT, Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves.
  • 1 Peter 4:10 TPT,  Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace.
  • John 15:13 TPT, For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

Agape Love. This is a love that is supernatural and comes from the heart of the Father.  This love is unconditional, un-condemning, and not based on performance. Agape Love does not change it’s view about someone, even if they fall.  Agape Love will cover them and pick them up.This is the Love our Father desires that we walk in.

  • 1 John 4:7-11 NASB, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
  • 1 Thessalonians 3:12 NASB, and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you
  • Galatians 5:22-23 NASB, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Let this mind be in you-Because it is in Christ.

Be Blessed to dwell with your brothers and sisters in Christ.  As we do we will move toward unity.

Aligning for Divine Harvest by: Ken Malone

I See:

Cities Marked for Awakening Revival

There are cities in our state and nation, that is marked for revival. A great harvest of souls will come out of these cities. The harvest will be so huge, that no one congregation or leader will be able to handle or disciple them all. Those who have been equipped will be needed in this Harvest.

Whom shall I send?

Help Wanted-Laborers

A Call is Made

A Macedonian call is being made now and many quarried stones, prepared disciples are moving to these cities to help steward this revival. This awakening revival will be stewarded by the body of Christ. I see many retired and some wounded ministers coming into alignment with their calling.

Angel Armies Arriving Now

Angel armies are on the move, positioning these cities for this glory revival. Angelic armies and commanders are working with the Ekklesia of cities. Entertain these angels as they arrive for Kingdom work.

Shift is Occuring

Ministers are being moved out and others in, to accommodate our Lord’s plan of a billion soul harvest, prophesied by Bob Jones. I see many retired and wounded ministers coming back into alignment with their calling.

Mature Intercessors

Mature intercession is needed in this harvest hour. Some intercessors are hearing and praying with the Lord, while others are praying their wants and dislikes. Those who make intercession, listen to what our Lord is saying. Listen to the seasoned apostles and prophets. Then pray accordingly.

Men to Your Knees

Men it’s time to position yourself on the frontline of intercession. For to long time men have taken a hidden position while the women towed the line of intercession. This is not true of biblical men. Not any longer! Men take your place in His-Story. Join my blog.

A Royal Family

Truth Confessions

1 Peter 2:9 NKJV, But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 Peter 2:9 TPT, But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.

In the Kingdom of God, what does it mean to be a part of a ROYAL family?  The Greek word for royal in 1 Peter 2:9 is Basileios.  It means belonging to, appointed, suitable for the King.  This word is from the root word Basileia, meaning king, Royal Dominion.  Those who live in this dimension of royalty, display that attributes of Christ’s kingdom.  They are called to Royal dominion and clothed with Royal dignity.

Being a part of a Royal family also means you’re not just a church member but you are a son.  There is a difference in Sons and church members.  Sons display the integrity of God’s kingdom in their life.  They act like a son who knows the character of our Heavenly Father.

Our Confession:

  • I live within a Royal Kingdom.  My Heavenly Father is the King and I am His Son. I have free access to His Kingdom through the blood of the Lamb.
    • Hebrews 12:28 TPT   Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakeable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.
    • Luke 12:32 NKJV   Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
    • Matthew 10:7 TPT   And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s kingdom realm is accessible, close enough to touch.’
  • I am in His Royal family.  According to Revelation 1:6, I am a king and priest unto God.
    • Revelation 1:6 NKJV   and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
  • I have a Royal inheritance.  Everything that the Father is and has is a part of me.  I share in all that He is and inherit everything that Christ is.
    • Romans 8:16-17 TPT   For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” 17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferingsas our own.
  • As Royalty, I am made in His image, His likeness and I am like Him.  As He is so am I.  I act like Him, I walk like Him, I talk like Him.
    • Genesis 1:26 NASB  Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
    • 1 John 4:17 NASB   By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.
  • In this Royal family I am blessed.  His blessings come on me and overtake me.  I am blessed going in and blessed going out.  The Father opens the good treasures of heaven and pours them out upon me.  Everything I set my hand to is blessed by the King.
    • Ephesians 1:3 NASB   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
    • Deuteronomy 28:1-6 NASB  Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
  • As a son in this incredible Royal Family.  I walk in the statutes of the Kingdom of God.  I see everything through the lenses of His Kingdom.
    • Psalm 19:8 NKJV   The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
    • Psalm 119:6 NKJV   I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
    • Psalm 119:54 NKJV  Your statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.
  • As Royalty, I am a seeker of His Kingdom.  I do not seek my own needs but I seek out the needs of the Kingdom.  As I seek His Kingdom, all things are added unto me.
    • Matthew 6:33 TPT   So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdomand the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
    • Matthew 6:33 NASB   But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Our Confession:

I live within a Royal Kingdom.  My Heavenly Father is the King and I am His son.  I have free access to His Kingdom through the blood of Christ.

I am in His Royal family.  According to Revelation 1:6, I am a king and priest unto God.

I have a Royal inheritance.  Everything that the Father is and has is a part of me.  I share in all that He is and inherit everything that Christ is.

As Royalty, I am made in His image, His likeness—I am like Him.  As He is so am I.  I act like Him, I walk like Him, and I talk like Him.

In this Royal family I am blessed.  His blessings come on me and overtake me.  I am blessed going in and blessed going out.  The Father opens the good treasures of heaven and pours them upon me.  Everything I set my hand to is blessed by the King.

As a son in this incredible Royal family, I walk in the statutes of the Kingdom of God.  I see everything through the lenses of the Kingdom of God.

As Royalty, I am a seeker of His Kingdom.  I do not seek my own needs but I seek out the needs of the Kingdom.  As I seek His Kingdom, all things are added unto me.

Please Pray for the Tampa Bay Region

Prophetic Vision and Word over the Tampa Bay Region                                                        Ken Malone—April 30, 2020

This morning while on my balcony musing with the Lord, my vision was taken into the Tampa Bay region.  I began to see, and here’s what I saw.  I see a fire ignite on the bay.  “I heard Father say, “My fire is on this region and it will be one of the headwaters of revival.”  I see Safety Harbor becoming a place of Healing Revival.  In Clearwater, I see Scientologists leaving their false ideology and coming to Yeshua. I see St Petersburg moving into a book of Acts revival. I see the Ekklesia of Tampa hosting huge worship gatherings and evangelistic campaigns at Raymond James Stadium. Many of the athletic teams will experience a great move of Holy Spirit.  Locker rooms will be filled with Holy Spirit.  New strategies to transform the region will come from the locker room round tables.  Many will come to Christ as the Holy Spirit releases His net into the Bay for a great catch. As in the days of the gospel writers, one boat will not suffice for this harvest.  Luke 5:4-7 NASB “When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” Simon answered and said, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but [a]I will do as You say and let down the nets.” When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break; so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.”  The “new age” in the region is being replaced with the “NEW ERA” of Holy Spirit.

I see:

  • The manifestation of Jesus Christ into the entire Tampa Bay Region. In the vision, Jesus was actually standing in the atmosphere over the Bay.  He was so big, He was the focus.
  • Little Children will be a part of a huge harvest of this revival fire. Thousands and thousands of children, coming to our Lord in this manifestation of Jesus out of the Bay of Holy Spirit.
  • Seniors will come to Jesus in massive droves. They are carriers of this fire. Many of the senior ministers will come out of retirement to help steward this revival fire. The Lord says, “Do not discount this harvest field.”  Many of the seniors have become a nameless/faceless and forgotten people of our society.  The Lord will summon a vast Ekklesia army of seniors out of the region.  They will carry great authority in Holy Spirit. Many apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers will be seen among them.
  • A restoration of the family will be at the top of the movement.  Young families will come into the Kingdom of God and break the cycle of divorce in the region.
  • Public, private, home-schooled students will band together in a great explosion of Signs, Wonders and Miracles.  Universities will begin to have worship gatherings, led by students, that will have great impact on the students and faculty. Thousands will come to the worship gatherings on campus. This will be a game changer to the atmosphere of the region.
  • Angels on assignment are being sent out to work with the Ekklesia of the region. The Angel Armies are in full force in the Bay region.
  • A massive revival in the homeless communities will rock the bay region.  Homeless individuals being filled by Holy Spirit and allowing Him to take resident in them and in their midst.  Masses of the homeless filled with Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues.  A new breed of evangelist and those who heal the sick will come forth from this community. I saw homeless believers, who are ministers of the Lord, in this community.  Those who lead homeless ministries should prepare now, to make disciples of the homeless.
  • I see a strong Healing movement in the region.  Thousands will be healed.  Healing and Miracles will be a common day thing in the days ahead. I see people flying and driving from many places to be healed in the Headwaters of Revival.
  • I see a mighty Ekklesia coming forth with governmental authority to shift and change structures, regions, neighborhoods, civil government and the like.

Important

  • Hernando Desoto landed in this region on May 25, 1539 and called it Espiritu Santo, or “Bay of Holy Spirit.” The landing took place on Whitsunday, which is another term of Pentecost Sunday. That was 481 years ago this May; Yahweh placed a focus on this region and He’s placing a focus on it now.
  • Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020 is a very important time for the Ekklesia in the Bay of Holy Spirit region. Holy Spirit is brooding over His bay.  I can see and feel the brooding of the Lord.  Many of the prophetic leaders in the body are calling for this Pentecost to be a literal Pentecost. That just as we had a literal Passover, we may see a literal Pentecost.

History

  • Lands at Tampa Bay. It was a splendid retinue that sailed with him from Spain in 1538, all eager for adventure in the land they believed to be “the richest country that unto that day had been discovered.” After a winter at Cuba then sailed in the spring for Florida. On the 25th of May, 1539, they landed at Tampa Bay after a voyage of six days. As it was Whitsunday, De Soto called the bay Espiritu Santo (Holy Spirit), and by this name it was known for many years. The name of Tampa was afterward given on account of an Indian village of that name near by. This was very near the place where De Narvaez had landed. https://fcit.usf.edu/florida/docs/d/desoto.htm

The major cities that surround the bay is, Tampa, the third largest city in Florida, Clearwater and St Petersburg. There are many other smaller cities in the bay area and they are also included in what I saw in the Spirit.

Focused Intercession

I’m calling on the intercessors to begin to travail over the Bay region and all the cities surrounding it.  Give the Lord no rest.  Do not hold back, cry out, it’s the time of giving birth.  Isaiah 62:64-7 ESV   You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest,
and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem (Bay of Holy Spirit) and makes it a praise in the earth. *Emphasis Mine.

Take a map of the Bay region and begin to prophesy, pray, decree, forgive.  Over this region, cry out mercy, cry out God’s Goodness, cry out Forgiveness over the region in the name of Yeshua.

Our focus now is on what the Lord is saying, not on the past.  There is a redemptive atmosphere in the Bay of Holy Spirit that will be like a magnet to everyone in the region.
